To eat today, white beans with black pudding and chorizo in an express pot
With these cold, you want a hearty spoon dish for it, the white beans that I have prepared carry black pudding, their chorizo and in my case I have added a pig or pig leg, all cooked in an express pot.
Since I don’t usually have much time, I make them in the express pot or pressure cooker, what a great invention!
It is very easy to make them in the pot, you just have to fill the pot with the ingredients, add the water, close tightly and let the valve rise and reduce the fire in my case it has been for 15 minutes. We remove from the heat and let the valve lower and eat.
I recommend that you read the instructions of the express pot, since each product can have a different cooking time in one pot or another.
I usually do quite a lot since I have twice that way, and from one day to the next they are even better.
Ingredients for white beans with black pudding and chorizo in an express pot:
1/2 kg of white beans
1/2 pork leg, can also be made with a piece of jowl
1 black pudding
1 ham bone
4 cloves of garlic
1/2 onion or 2 leeks
In the express pot we put the white beans that we have previously soaked throughout the night. Drain the water, wash the legume and add: the ham bone, the pork leg, the blood sausage, the chorizo, the unpeeled garlic cloves, the salt, a drizzle of oil, 1/2 onion, the peeled carrots and cut in two, and water. The water that covers all the ingredients plus two other fingers.
We close the pot according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Once the valve goes up, and starts to blow the steam out, I have let them cook for 15 minutes over medium heat.
And to eat. It can be accompanied by some pickled chillies.
