Ribbons with Chicken and Tikka Masala

 

Ingredients (4 people):


– 300 gr of egg pasta ribbons
– 200 gr of diced chicken breast
– 12 large mushrooms
– 400 gr of tikka masala sauce (Indian sauce based on spices)
– 2 natural Greek yogurts (optional)
– Olive oil
– Water
– Salt

Elaboration:


We cook the pasta in a saucepan with water and a handful of salt for about 7 minutes after it starts to boil or following the instructions on the package.


While the pasta is cooking we wash the mushrooms well, we cut the base and cut them into quarters. Next we cover the bottom of a frying pan with the oil, add the chicken and the mushrooms and fry them well.


Once the pasta has cooked, drain it well, add it to the pan together with the chicken and mushrooms and mix carefully. To finish, add the tikka masala sauce to the pan and cook for about 5 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally.


We serve hot.


If the flavor of the tikka masala is too strong for us, we can add to the plate once we have served it a tablespoon of Greek yogurt.
