Melon Salad with Ham and Goat Cheese
Ingredients (4 people):
– 1 kg of melon
– 200 gr of serrano ham in strips
– 150 gr of goat cheese
– 100 gr of raisins
– 100 gr of chopped peeled walnuts
– Extra virgin olive oil
– Balsamic vinegar of Modena
We put the melon in the refrigerator until it is very cold, once it is cold we peel it, remove the seeds and cut it into cubes.
Next we cut the goat cheese and add it to a bowl together with the cold melon, ham, walnuts and raisins.
Season with the oil, vinegar, salt and pepper, reserve in the refrigerator for 15/20 minutes so that the flavors are well integrated and serve very cold.
If we want our salad to be softer or we don’t like goat cheese, we can substitute it for any type of fresh cheese.
