Gorgonzola and Caramelized Pear Stuffed Volcanoes
Ingredients (8 units):
– 8 large volcanoes
– 200 gr of gorgonzola cheese
– 2 small pears
– 150 gr of peach jam
– Brown sugar
We wash the pears, peel them, remove the core and cut them into cubes. Add to a pan a little butter, 2 c.s. brown sugar and diced pears, caramelize over low heat until the pear is golden brown and soft and reserve.
Next we cover the bottom of the volovans with the peach jam, on the jam we are placing pieces of pear to fill them and to finish we add some pieces of gorgonzola cheese and decorate with 3 or 4 raisins.
We introduce the volovanes in the oven preheated to 180º and bake for 5 minutes.
Once the cheese has melted, we take them out of the oven, let them warm a little and serve.
