Wash the lentils and drain well.
Peel the potatoes and cut them into medium squares, scrape the carrots and cut them not too small, peel the onion and cut it in the center without breaking it, cut the chorizo into not very thin slices.
Place the lentils, potatoes, carrots, onion, ham cubes, chorizo, bay leaves, fried tomato, 1 teaspoon of paprika, oil and salt in the quick pot.
Add water to the pot until all the ingredients are well covered and stir gently.
Cover the pot and when the steam rises cook for 10 minutes. Let the steam down and serve hot.
To this recipe we can also add 1 or 2 cloves of garlic.
If we do not have a pressure cooker, we can make the same recipe in a saucepan, but we will cook over medium heat for half an hour or until the vegetables are well cooked, stirring occasionally.
