Chicken soup – Homemade recipes

Ingredients for the broth:

  • 1/2 chicken
  • A calf knee bone
  • A piece of Serrano ham
  • A couple of turnips
  • Three carrots
  • A leek
  • A branch of celery

Ingredients for the soup:

  • A liter of broth
  • Fine noodles
  • A hard boiled egg
  • 1/2 onion
  • A little of the broth vegetable
  • A little bit of the chicken

Elaboration:

  • We remove the skin of the chicken helping us with a kitchen cloth and all the fat and we put it in the pot with three liters of water and the clean bone and the piece of ham which we have also removed all the fat that we can. Let it boil and froth.
  • Add the vegetables and cover, we have about 20/25 minutes and remove from the heat. Strain the broth and set aside the vegetables and chicken. A very clear and almost fat-free broth comes out. We can make the soup directly without defatting.
  • We cut the finite onion and cook it and reserve.
  • We put a liter of broth in a saucepan and add a cube of avecren and when it boils add three tablespoons of noodles.
  • We cut a little bit of each vegetable and we also chop a little of the chicken meat and incorporate it together with the chopped hard-boiled egg and onion.
  • We cook and serve
