Today I bring you a recipe for chicken curry skewer, It is a very healthy recipe, since we are going to prepare it on the grill.
We can make skewers with all kinds of products: chicken, pork, veal, beef, fish, shrimp, red and green peppers, onions, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, zucchini…. it’s just a matter of imagination.
Ingredients for chicken curry skewer
for 4 skewers:
For the chicken breast skewers
4 skewer sticks
Whole half breast
1/4 of piece onion
1/4 of piece green pepper
For the garnish of the chicken breast skewer
1 clove garlic
8 slices of bread
Maldodian salt or normal salt
Marinated Chicken Skewer
1 spoon of curry dessert (if we do not like curry, we can do it with pepper, sweet or spicy paprika, garlic and parsley,) to taste
Preparation of the chicken curry skewer:
Marinate the chicken breast with the curryTo do this, we cut the breast into square pieces, and marinate it, with the curry, the juice of 1/2 lemon and 3 tablespoons oil for at least an hour.
Assembling the chicken skewer
We cut the green pepper and the onion into also square pieces, and we are inserting in the skewer sticks, I start with the pepper, piece of breast, onion, piece of breast, pepper …, so until we finish the skewer.
On the kitchen griddle or frying pan, I toast about eight slices of bread and spread them with garlic. I reserve.
In the same kitchen griddle or griddle pan, the oil smear, and we add the skewers, the whole mushrooms and the tomatoes cut in half, I usually pour the broth from the maceration over all the ingredients.
We plate the chicken skewers with the mushrooms and the tomatoes, I add a dash of oil on top. I accompany it with the garlic bread.
And you may wonder, but, hasn’t he added salt to the skewer? , no, I have not added it, since as it has the curry, it gives a lot of flavor, and the lack of salt is hardly noticeable. But I added Maldon salt to the mushrooms and tomatoes at the end of the preparation.
