Savory pie with peppers and salami: this cake is very easy to prepare, it is the classic "svuotafrigo" recipe, I recommend that you always keep a roll of puff pastry or brisèe at home, so when you really don't have ideas you can improvise something at the last minute, for this recipe enough ricotta, an egg and what you have in the fridge, I had peppers, a little cheese and salami.

Ingredients for a 24-26 cm cake pan

  • 1 roll of puff pastry
  • 1 ricotta of 300 gr.
  • 2 peppers
  • 1 egg
  • 4-5 slices of salami
  • 80 gr. of cheese (the one you prefer I had asiago)

How to make the salted pepperoni and salami pie

Cut the peppers in half, remove the internal white filaments and the seeds, wash the peppers and cut them into small pieces (of the size you prefer) cook them in a pan with a little oil and a clove of garlic. After about twenty minutes they will be ready, keep them aside.

Mix the ingredients by turning the mixture and add the cheese and salami

unroll the puff pastry and use the parchment paper in which it is wrapped, place it in a cake pan, prick it with the prongs of a fork, pour the ricotta mixture inside,
