Mexican corn tortillas quick and easy recipe
Mexican tortillas : tortillas term which in Spanish means “small cakes”. The word applies to various foods, consumed in various Spanish-speaking countries, generally accompanying beef but also chicken, dating back to 10,000 BC and we can say that the recipe has changed little over time. They are mainly used in the preparation of fajitas, enchiladas, burritos and quesadillas.

Ingredients for 12 people
- 2 cups of cornmeal
- 1 cup of water
- 1 pinch of salt
How to make Mexican Tortillas
Combine the flour, salt and water in a bowl, mix with your hands until you get a fairly soft dough.
(The dough should not stick anymore, but at the same time remain soft). Let the dough rest for at least 15/20 minutes. Divide the dough into 12 balls. Take two sheets of parchment paper, oil both sheets and press each part of the dough until you get a diameter of about 18/20 cm each, help yourself with a rolling pin or a flat plate ... Cook the Mexican tortillas in a pan, or if possible on a griddle, for about a minute on each side. And here are yours tortillas to be used for example for the preparation of fajitas.
