Gnocchi with clams, simple and quick recipe

Gnocchi with clams a variant of the classic spaghetti that are typically used, a Sunday dish in my part but I was at the market and these clams inspired me, you can make gnocchi in 10 minutes following the recipe for homemade gnocchi, or buy them ready-made at the supermarket. Obviously, using homemade gnocchi they will be much lighter and not chewy.

Preparation time: 10 min Cooking time: 5 min Execution: easy


  • 180 gr of gnocchi
  • 250 gr of clams
  • 2 cherry tomatoes
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1/2 glass of dry white wine
  • 1 sprig of parsley
  • 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt to taste


How to make Gnocchi with clams

In a pan put the oil, the whole garlic, the 2 cherry tomatoes and chilli if you prefer.

After 3/4 minutes over low heat, add all the clams. Brown for a few minutes and add the wine; let it evaporate over high heat.

Remove from the heat to remove the garlic and any chili if used. Meanwhile, boil the gnocchi in plenty of salted water and drain them as they come to the surface.
Pour them into the pan with the clams, turn them gently to flavor them, add the chopped parsley and serve on the table ... GOOD APPETITE !!!
