Green beans with tomato Quick and easy recipe
Green beans in tomato sauce : a simple, quick and tasty way to cook green beans (which normally don't have a great taste) is to prepare them with tomato, using puree, or hill tomatoes. Try this side dish… you won't regret it!

Ingredients for 2 people:
- 250 g. of green beans
- 200 ml. of tomato sauce or 300 g. of ripe tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 clove of garlic
- Salt to taste
How to make green beans with tomato sauce
Wash and clean the green beans, blanch them for about ten minutes in salted water and drain. Fry the garlic clove in the oil, add the tomato sauce or the hill tomatoes cut into small pieces
finally add the green beans, salt and pepper, cook for about 15 minutes by putting the lid on the pan, finally add the fresh basil (or frozen as in my case).
And your green beans with tomato are ready. Enjoy your meal!
