Sweet and sour liver : There are few people who like liver, I don't like it yet when I tasted this dish I not only ate it but I also liked it very much ... sweet and sour and onions make this dish very tasty ... and then it's easy easy to prepare. Try it!
Ingredients for 4 people
- 500 gr. of liver
- 5 large onions
- 2 tsp of sugar
- 1/2 glass of apple cider vinegar
- extra virgin olive oil
- bread crumbs
How to make sweet and sour liver
Cut the onions into slices and put them in a pan with 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, sauté the onions by putting the lid on the pan, after 4-5 minutes remove the lid and brown the onion. Turn off the heat and keep the onion aside.
Bread the slices of liver (better if they are very thin, or if the slices are very thick you can cut them into strips, or into pieces of 3-4 cm per side), put them in a pan with 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and cook them for a few minute by side,
until they are golden and crunchy,
at this point add the onions and cook,
then add the half glass of apple cider vinegar containing the 2 teaspoons of sugar, pour over the liver over medium heat and allow the vinegar to evaporate slightly ... Serve and the SWEET AND SOUR LIVER is ready! Enjoy your meal!
