Peppers flowers with bull's-eye: here's a nice way to present bull's-eye eggs, just cut a pepper into slices and that's it. You will surprise your diners with this very simple and colorful recipe.
- 1 pepper (or two if you want different colored flowers)
- fresh eggs
- salt and pepper
- extra virgin olive oil
How to make peppers flowers with bull's eye
wash the peppers, remove the core and the internal seeds if present, cut slices horizontally in order to obtain "flowers", the slices of pepper must be about 2 cm thick,
grease a pan with 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil, put the slices of pepper in the pan and cook them for a few minutes (2-3) on both sides.
Then add the egg inside, trying to place the yolk in the center. Cook with the lid on and proceed as for a normal bull's-eye.
When cooked, serve with salt and pepper. And your very nice pepper flowers with eggs are ready.
