Rustica with ham mousse Quick and easy recipe
San Carlo launches the challenge: use the “Rustica” potato chip in the kitchen and Carlo Cracco responds. The famous chef from Hell's Kitchen offers various recipes and with the slogan “in the kitchen it takes audacity” he attracts the curiosity of various food bloggers who are inspired by his imaginative combinations. The “wider and thicker” Rustica potato chip thus becomes the basis of many appetizers. There is also a competition in which anyone can participate by proposing a recipe that has Rustica among the ingredients.
I have prepared one of the recipes proposed by Carlo Cracco on the website of San Carlo.
- 1 packet of "Rustica San Carlo" chips
- 300 gr of fontina
- 50 gr of honey mushrooms in oil
- 140 gr of fresh cream cheese
- 320 gr of cooked ham
- 150 gr of cooking cream
- 40 gr of Parmigiano Reggiano
- black pepper
How to make Rustica with ham mousse
Cut the fontina cheese into very small cubes, then prepare the ham mousse by placing the cooked ham, Parmesan, cream cheese and a pinch of pepper in the mixer. Mix for a few seconds.
With a teaspoon, take some ham mousse and place it on a Rustica San Carlo potato chip, add two honey mushrooms in oil. Repeat the operation on all the chips. Serve on a serving dish as an appetizer or as an aperitif.
