Spaghetti with walnuts Quick and easy recipe
Spaghetti with walnuts: unlike pasta with walnut sauce, these spaghetti are not prepared with the addition of a sauce but with raw crumbled walnuts and poured over one of the simplest preparations: spaghetti with garlic and oil. The walnuts give a crunchiness and a slightly bitter taste that goes well with the basic preparation; it is an extra touch for a very fast dish that makes it non-trivial, perfect for a quick pasta with friends, or in this post-Christmas period when we all have plenty of dried fruit at home. Try it!
Ingredients for 2 people
- 180 gr. of spaghetti (or vermicelli or linguine)
- 5 coarsely crushed walnuts
- 5 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
- 6-7 salted capers
How to make Spaghetti with walnuts
Open the walnuts with the nutcracker
and crush them coarsely by putting them in a food bag and pounding them with a spoon.
Prepare the spaghetti with garlic and oil: boil the pasta in abundant salted water, in the meantime put a large pan on the fire with garlic and oil, brown the garlic just a little and add the capers after a few seconds turn off the heat and add the walnuts and parsley.
Drain the pasta, pour it into the pan, turn on the heat and turn to mix all the ingredients.
