Christmas cookies quick and easy recipe
Christmas cookies: perfect served with tea or a nice hot chocolate ... they can also be used as decorations for the Christmas tree by making a small hole with a straw before baking!
Preparation: 10 minutes Cooking: 15 minutes Execution: Easy
1 roll of shortcrust pastry
2 tablespoons of sugar
2 tablespoons of peanuts
1 tablespoon of coconut flour (if you prefer)
Spread out the shortcrust pastry roll, sprinkle half of the roll with chopped peanuts and the other half with dehydrated coconut, add the granulated sugar to the surface. Pass the rolling pin by pressing lightly on the entire surface in order to incorporate the added ingredients.
With the molds you create the cookies with the shapes you like best. Making good use of the spaces, because it will not be possible to knead the dough again (the biscuits made with re-mixed dough will swell a lot and the shape will no longer be distinguishable).
Arrange the biscuits in a baking tray lined with parchment paper
Bake at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes, when the biscuits are slightly golden remove them from the oven and let them cool a little and ... GOOD APPETITE !!! ... or rather MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!
WINE PAIRING: Vin Santo, or Vin Brulè ... and for children (and not) ... hot chocolate with whipped cream!
In this blog for wine pairings I have consulted the site most of the time: www.bodegasdevino.org
Enjoy your meal!
