Carnival black pudding how to prepare it Quick and easy recipe
Pudding Carnival: A great classic among Carnival recipes! In pastry shops it is found only in this period and always accompanies the Chiacchiere (or frappe). It is so simple to prepare that in 10 minutes it will be ready to taste, try it it's delicious!
Ingredients for 8 people
- 500 ml of fresh whole milk
- 250 g of sugar
- 75 gr of bitter cocoa
- 15 g of flour 00
- 30 gr of potato starch
- 100 g of good quality dark chocolate
- 2 sachets of vanillin
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- chocolate chips (optional)

How to make Carnival blood sausage
Mix in a steel saucepan (which will then contain all the black pudding): the bitter cocoa, lo sugar, the flour, the cinnamon and the vanillin, mix everything and set aside.
Pour the milk into another saucepan and bring it to a boil, remove from the heat and pour the milk in the saucepan with cocoa and sugar,
mix well and put on the fire (low heat) e keep mixing with a hand whisk. Now add the dark chocolate and butter to the mixture, mix until all the ingredients are well blended
Remove from the heat when the black pudding has a creamy consistency, put everything on the heat over low heat, stirring constantly. When the black pudding has cooled, add (if you like) the chocolate chips, served with dry biscuits, with the Chiacchiere or Frappe or with the Neapolitan braces.
HOW TO STORE THE BLOOD:
Let the black pudding cool with a contact film (see video above), refrigerate and keep for 2 days maximum. Serve it at room temperature.
