Tiramisù with strawberries and limoncello a perfect dessert for this period, in other periods you can also use a strawberry sauce, then I will show you the recipe. Strawberries give their best together with lemon and limoncello so I decided to dip the ladyfingers not in coffee as in classic tiramisù, but in strawberry and limoncello juice, creating an alcoholic dip.
Ingredients for a baking dish measuring 27 × 18 cm
- 250 gr of ladyfingers
- 250 grams of mascarpone
- 500 gr of strawberries
- 3 very fresh eggs
- 6 tablespoons of sugar
- 1 cup of limoncello

How to make Tiramisù with strawberries and limoncello
Wash and cut the strawberries into small pieces, put them in a bowl and add 3 tablespoons of sugar, let them macerate for an hour. Filter the strawberries using a colander and collect the juice thus obtained. Add half a glass of limoncello to the strawberry juice (alternatively the Fragolino liqueur is fine) and set aside both the juice and the strawberries.
In the meantime, prepare the mascarpone cream: mix together 3 tablespoons of sugar and the egg yolks (how to pasteurize the eggs click here) with a whisk, add the mascarpone and continue mixing to create a frothy cream,
separately whip the egg whites until stiff and gently incorporate them into the mascarpone cream. Take a baking dish and create the first layer of the tiramisù dipping the ladyfingers quickly on both sides in the strawberry and limoncello juice
then spread the mascarpone cream and level
add the chopped strawberries and repeat creating another layer with the ladyfingers,
then spread another layer of mascarpone cream and finally decorate with the remaining strawberries. And your strawberry and limoncello tiramisù is ready. Enjoy your meal!
