How to make stuffed round zucchini
Cut the top of the zucchini and empty the pulp using a teaspoon, I recommend leaving a little white part, you have to empty a few millimeters from the green part.
Cut the pulp into small pieces and set aside, in a pan put a tablespoon of oil and two tablespoons of breadcrumbs, let the oil absorb, turning often, when the breadcrumbs begin to brown remove it from the pan and keep it aside ,
at this point in the same pan put the pulp of the zucchini with a drizzle of oil, cook them for about ten minutes, lightly mash with a fork so that cooking is faster,
then add the breadcrumbs to the zucchini pulp, mix the two ingredients well,
and start filling the courgettes (if you prefer, or if by chance the courgette or the base had a hole in it, you can line the inside with a slice of raw ham), put all the mixture in the courgettes and add 3-4 pieces of cheese (that that you prefer or that you find yourself at home, I used Asiago), incorporating them well inside (I also added some strips of raw ham); arrange the zucchini in a pan, a drizzle of oil before baking and a little parmesan to create a golden crust,
Bake for 20 minutes at 180 ° -200 °, they will be ready when they are golden on the surface. And your stuffed round courgettes are ready …… Enjoy your meal!
WINE PAIRING: A is recommended Sasyr Toscano, a wine red wine from Maremma. With an intense ruby color and a strong red fruit aroma, the flavor is soft and persistent. The wine it should be served at a temperature between 16 and 18 degrees.
