Artichokes and speck pizza quick and easy recipe
Artichoke and speck pizza: it's a combination that I really like, so I tried to make pizza with these ingredients, the result? ... disappeared in 5 minutes! 🙂 with the same base you can indulge yourself with the ingredients you like best.

Ingredients for 2 people
- Ready-made pizza dough or follow the recipe
- 2 artichokes
- 100 gr. of mozzarella or sweet auricchio
- 3 slices of speck
- extra virgin olive oil, salt
How to make artichokes and speck pizza
(A tip: if you choose to use mozzarella - or fior di latte - it is preferable that it is not very fresh, or if it is fresh a few hours before, cut the slices you will need and put them in the fridge on a covered plate).
First clean the artichokes removing the outer leaves, cut the tip and empty them of the inner beard, cut into thin slices and place in a bowl with cold water and the juice of a lemon so as not to darken them
drain the artichokes, dry them with absorbent paper and put them in a pan with a drizzle of oil, cook them for about ten minutes, covering with the lid for the first few minutes, it is important to cut the slices very thin, so cooking will be faster
in the meantime, already heat the oven to 220 °. I spread the Dough for pizzto on a sheet of parchment paper inside a baking tray,
I put a thread d'oil and I spread it with my hands on the surface, a little bit of salt, then I made some dips with my fingertips, I added the pieces of milk cream (in this case I used thesweet auricchio), lo speck and artichokes,
a last drizzle of oil and a pinch of salt (not too much speck is salty!) and I baked (in a preheated oven) 220 ° for 15 minutes. Let it cool for a couple of minutes and ... ENJOY YOUR MEAL!
