Pear and chocolate strudel Quick and easy recipe

Pear and chocolate strudel: actually there is also a banana! It is the alternative to the usual apple strudel with raisins and honestly I prefer it! It's easy to make and it's really yummy !!


  • 1 roll of round puff pastry
  • 50 gr. chocolate chips
  • 1 pear
  • 1 banana
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 40 gr. of dry biscuits (like Saiwa gold
  • 1 tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 lemon
  • powdered sugar
  • butter


How to make a pear and chocolate strudel

Cut the pear and banana, sprinkle with the juice of half a lemon (so as not to blacken),

chop the gold saiwa (or other dry biscuits),

add the fruit, biscuits, chocolate chips and 1 tablespoon of sugar in a bowl, mix.

Unroll the puff pastry, leaving the parchment paper as a base, prick with the tines of a fork, distribute the fruit and biscuit mixture, sprinkle with bitter cocoa and the other spoonful of sugar

and close the strudel: roll it up on itself with the help of parchment paper, and then fold the two small sides upwards so that all the folds are on the same side.


Take a plumcake mold and, always using the parchment paper present in the puff pastry package, place the strudel in the mold with the closure facing down. Before baking at 180 ° for about 40 minutes, brush with melted butter and sprinkle with a little granulated sugar.
