Croque Monsieur quick and easy recipe
Croque Monsieur: I have recently returned from a short break in Paris, and there is nothing to say .. except that Paris is always beautiful in any season. On the streets of Paris you will often be attracted either by the classic baguettes with butter, ham and cheese or by this particular toast which is certainly not a diet food, but as a quick meal around the streets of the city it is perfect ... and it is also easily reproducible in home. There is also Croque Madame, just add a bull's-eye egg on the toast.
Ingredients for 2 people
- 4 slices of carrè bread or brioche bread
- 4 tablespoons of bechamel
- slices of cooked ham 4
- 1 slice of emmental
- salt

How to do the Croque Monsieur
Spread the béchamel on 2 of the 4 slices of brioche bread, 1-2 tablespoons of bechamel are enough
lay the ham fillet and grated Gruyere cheese on top, close with the slice of pan brioche
and finally spread the béchamel on the surface and add plenty of gruyere
Bake at 200 ° for 4-5 minutes until the surface is browned and golden and your Croque Monsieur is ready …… bon appétit!
