Puff pastry bundles: they are sweet dumplings filled with fig jam, but they can be stuffed with your favorite jam. They are probably the easiest dessert to make, you just need a roll of ready-made pastry (preferably rectangular), and the filling you prefer. Try it!
Ingredients for 3-4 bundles
- 1 roll of puff pastry
- 7-8 teaspoons of jam
- water and sugar
How to make puff pastry bundles
Unroll the ready puff pastry leaving it on the sheet of paper present in the package, cut out squares of the size you prefer (each square will then be folded in half to create a rectangle) on one half make 3 cuts
on the other half spread 2-3 teaspoons of fig jam
fold the bundle on itself, press on the flaps to seal
brush a little water on the surface and add a little sugar (granulated or cane) to make the bundle shiny and crunchy on the outside.
Put the puff pastry bundles on a baking sheet leaving the sheet of parchment paper. Bake at 180 degrees for 10-15 minutes until they are golden on the outside. And here are your puff pastry bundles filled with jam. Let them cool to room temperature and serve.
