Everyone loves a good sausage recipe, and this one is no exception. Some delicious onion sausages So easy to make, you’ll never, ever use a store-bought powder sauce!
Ingredients for making onion sausages
- ½ Tablespoon of oil
- 8 Sausages of choice
- one Large onion, halved and thinly sliced (yellow, white, or brown)
- two Garlic cloves, minced
- 3 Tablespoons flour (normal)
- two Cups of beef broth
- At your service
- Mashed potatoes
- Green peas
How to make sausages with onions
one.- Heat oil in large skillet / frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the sausages and cook them, turning them, until they are browned as much as possible everywhere and are cooked well. The cooking time will vary depending on the size of the sausages, mine takes about 8 minutes.
two.- Remove the sausages on a plate. Lower the heat to medium. You need about 2 tablespoons of oil left in the pan. If you have much less, add a little butter or oil. Add the onion and garlic and cook until golden, about 4 minutes. Add the flour and mix everything.
three.- Add 3/4 cup meat broth and mix with the onion to make it muddy. Then add the rest of the meat broth and mix until combined.
four.- Simmer, stirring, until the sauce thickens but is slightly thinner than you want, it will thicken more as you serve it. Season with salt and pepper.
five.- Serve the onion sausages With lots of sauce, mashed potatoes and peas on the side. (Low carb option. Creamy cauliflower puree)
